Reservation Duration Minimum Add-ons

The new Reservation Duration Minimum Add-on is a control that allows you to better control what reservations will look like within your minimum and maximum duration. With the Minimum Add-on control you have the ability to set the reservation add-on amount as either (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or 120 minutes).

Previously when a customer was selecting their lanes they would be able to make a reservation for any number of additional time increments as long as they met the minimum number of required lanes and did not exceed the maximum reservation duration.

This could provide reservation flexibility however it sometimes allows for too much flexibility. In some instances you may want to operate using the quarter-hour time increments to best leverage the Block After functionality. However this would then allow customers to book additional time slots in quarter-hour increments. For example, a customer may be required to have at a minimum a 60 minute reservation. But after that they could book in 15 minute increments. This could create a really choppy reservation schedule and a wide variety of reservation options.

With the new Minimum Add-on control, you could set the minimum add-on value to be 30 minutes for example and your customers would then be limited to a 60, 90, 120, etc reservation.
