Update: AlleyTrak v1.4.16
Posted on 2017-04-06

AlleyTrak version 1.4.16 launches today and includes a comprehensive update to our Reservation Block system and updates to lane pricing calculations.

Updated Feature: Reservation Blocks

We've drastically improved the way reservation blocks are created, managed and how they operate. It all revolves around how the AlleyTrak system identifies and blocks out lanes. Prior to version 1.4.16, blocked out lanes would be automatically blocked out based on lane availability. For instance, users could block out 3 lanes from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and the AlleyTrak system would search through all the lanes at the location and find the first 3 in sequential order that are available to be blocked out. This worked very well for events planned typically three days in advance. This implementation worked well except it had limits. For instance, an administrator would be unable to block out a specific lane was down or broken.

Our new Reservation Block System allows administrators to specifically assign which lanes will be blocked out. If you have any questions about the new system, or how to take advantage of these features check out documentation section, or email us at help@alleytrak.com.

Bug Patch: Lane Pricing

We identified a conflict with the way pricing was being calculated for non whole dollar orders. As of version 1.4.16 none of our clients using AlleyTrak were charging non whole dollar prices, but in the event future customers choose to implement a pricing structure like this, AlleyTrak can now accommodate it.
