Package Groups: Apply Multiple Groups
We've extended our Package Group functionality to now support applying multiple package groups to individual packages. This added functionality will help organizations better manage additional resources and to prevent overbooking of spaces.
Imagine a scenario where you support up to five birthday parties at a time, but only want to allow one birthday party to use the party room space at a time. With two applied package groups, you can better limit and manage the availability of these spaces.Updates to Package Price Calculations
We've refactored some of the logic around calculating order total for packages that utilize modified add-on rates. This modified logic fixes a bug that was not accurately calculating order totals for events that had both extended durations and additional lanes when utilizing a modified add-on rate.
New Custom Sales Tax Rate for Packages
We've extended the tax calculation settings within the package manager to now support applying custom sales tax rates. Previously you had the ability to charge the default sales tax rate, or to not charge sales tax at all. With the changes we've implemented, you can now define custom tax rates.
