AlleyTrak version 5.118.0 Introduces CoverConnect Terminal Integration, Remaining Balance Charges and Event Date Property for Waivers!

CloverConnect Terminal Integration

We're excited to add our new terminal integration with CloverConnect. This integration will enable your staff to utilize the CloverConnect payment terminals for payment processing. Key features of terminal payments include:

1. Faster & Convenient Payment Processing

1. With the terminal integration, processing payments is faster than ever. Customers can tap, swipe or insert their card into the terminal reader for payment processing. 

2. Better Processing Rates

1. Cards processed in what is referred to as “card present payments” get a discounted processing rate. This helps save on payment processing fees.

3. Enhanced Card Verification Services

1. Cards processed via “card present methods” (tap, swipe, insert) have additional verification built-in which helps reduce fraud and disputes.

Remaining Balance Charges

As part of our payment processing enhancements, we've added the ability to process additional transactions against a reservation directly in AlleyTrak. This supports both our pre-existing payment gateway integrations (Authorize.net, CardConnect, Stripe, Square, and PayPal) via manual entry, in addition to the new CloverConnect terminals.

Event Date Property for Waivers

We've added a new field for waiver submissions, for the date of the event. This new datapoint will help you align miscellaneous waiver signatures (like walk-in events or in-center signatures) with the date of the event.

For customers filling out the waiver through the link sent out in the confirmation and reminder emails, we will automatically identify the date of the event without the customer even needing to see and select an event date. This will avoid human error and also keep the submission process as quick as possible for customers.
