AlleyTrak version 5.120.0 Introduces SelectPi Member Balance Payments and More!

SelectPi Member Balance Payments

We're excited to offer a 6th payment method to AlleyTrak, with SelectPi Member Balance Payments. For centers using SelectPi, your customers will now have the ability to pay for their reservation with their SelectPi member balance.

When checking out, customers will see the option to pay with their SelectPi balance. If their balance covers the cost of the booking payment requirement, the customer will be able to confirm their booking and pay with their SelectPi balance.

Issuing Refunds

Admin level users will have the ability to refund a SelectPi Member Balance payment similar to how you can issue refunds for Authorize.Net, CardConnect, Square, and Stripe payments. Refunds will be sent back to the customer's SelectPi member account.

Reservation Hours Closed Modification

We've updated an informational box that displays when a customer clicks on a date where you are not offering reservations but you do have Center Hours listed as open. This message will tell the customer that you are not taking reservations on that day, instead of reading as if you were closed.

Admin Pre-Payment Requests

Over the holiday season we noticed an increase in the number of pre-payment requests created by center staff. One common theme we noticed is that center staff would create the pre-payment request with a defined amount of $0.00. The pre-payment amount is based on the Deposit Total.

To help avoid pre-payment requests of $0.00, we've added some new logic that will default the pre-payment amount to be the defined order total. This will then send out the payment request to the customer with the expectation that they pay in full for their event booking.

Reporting Dashboard Updates

  • We've added some new styling and formatting to our Report Dashboard, to limit the overall size of each cell of data in the report. Data exceeding this length will be truncated. You will still get the full data when exporting. You can also hover over the cell to view the full details via a tooltip.

  • We've added a new location_title column to the order report, to provide alternative information next to the location_id column. The location_title is more user-friendly than a numeric identification value.

Go High Level Integration Updates

  • We've added a new custom field property for Go High Level, which is the Event Type. This new property will store the name of the event either Open Play, or the name of the package event booked.

    • To start utilizing this property, you will want to create a custom field property in Go High Level for customer.event_type. This should be a string based custom field.

  • We've fixed a bug that was causing a display issue during the checkout process if you had the GHL integration and your custom field tokens did not align with tokens in GHL.

Custom Hours Bug Fix

We've fixed a bug that was impacting Custom Hours under specific situations. If your location had days of the week where it is marked as closed, and you created a custom hour entry that would apply to all locations, the custom hour entry would not apply correctly. This has been corrected.

Other Changes

  • We've upgraded our AlleyTrak support chat tool to a new provider. This new tool provides better reliability and will help us better support you.

  • We've fixed a loading flicker that would occur briefly after confirming a reservation.

  • We've removed a color from the various colors shown when viewing reservations from the dashboard. This clue was reported as difficult to differentiate between the grid of available lanes.

  • We've fixed an unintended behavior that would occur on days where you no longer have availability and AlleyTrak automatically progresses to the next day for the customer. In these scenarios, AlleyTrak would update the default booking type to the first available package. We've modified this behavior in instances where the customer was originally trying to book an Open Play booking, to keep Open Play as the default booking type.
