AlleyTrak version 5.125.0 Introduces New Event Type Definitions, Enhancements to the Customer Checkout Experience, and More!
New Event Type Definitions
This week we've added a new setting in the location manager, which enables organizations to redefine “packages” as other types of events. This will help organizations that are offering other types of bookings through AlleyTrak. Current supportted definitions include:
Packages
Event
Event Type
Party
These definitions are utilized all throughout the AlleyTrak customer portal, and confirmation and reminder emails to accurately convey the event booking completed by the customer
Customer Checkout Experience Enhancements
We've added new styling and formatting enhancements to the AlleyTrak customer checkout experience to help simplify the booking process and to add clarity and ease-of-use to the customer.
Perhaps the most significant change is that we will now include traditional “Open Play” event offerings in the package/event listing. This will help customers more naturally switch between a package-based event and a standard open-play type booking.
We've added new styling to highlight the current selected package/event offering. This will help the customer better understand which event they have selected as they view the other event offerings.
We've replaced icon-based buttons to text-based buttons, which should be more intuitive for customers when reviewing and making selections. These changes apply when selecting a location/activity or package/event.
Additional Changes:
We've added new reply-to functionality to the direct email message that you can send customers. This will enable the customer to reply back to the email and for that email to be delivered to the email inbox for the user who sent the message to the customer.
We've updated the on-demand report builder to always send an email to the staff member who generates the report. Previously this report would only be sent if there were confirmed orders for the date the report was generated for.
We've updated our display labels for Inrange Pin Codes, to now read as Inrange Bay Codes which should be more relevant for end-users.
We've updated our text-message format for SelectPi ball redemption codes. The code now reads like: “Hey {{customer_name}}! Your Ball Dispenser Code for your event at {{company_name}} is: 7518.”
We've updated our Order Reports to include two new parameters:
Required Lanes - The minimum number of lanes required for the event (based on party size.
Lane Hours Reserved - The total amount of booked hours for an event. For example, a two-lane booking for one-hour, would be two lane-hours. A two-lane booking for two-hours, would be 4 lane-hours.
