Posted on 2025-03-02

AlleyTrak version 5.126.0 Introduces New Features for Waivers, New Dynamic Pricing Display UI, and More!

New Features for Waivers

Token Support for Waiver Confirmation

We've added support for tokens in the waiver confirmation page. Currently the only supported token is [[signee_name]], but in the future we can more easily add more token options!

New Date of Birth Age Validation

We've added a new control to enable you to enforce a minimum date of birth for waiver submissions. In most cases, this is 18 years or older, but it has been built to be flexible and support multiple age requirements.

New Input Option for Date of Birth

We've added an alternative way for customers to enter their date of birth, based on your preference. The default method is using our date picker tool, which just requires 3 clicks to enter their date of birth.

The new input method supports the customer typing in a date with a format of YYYY-MM-DD.

With this new input method, we've added new validation to ensure that the date entered is within 120 years from the current date, and that the dates are true valid dates.

New Dynamic Pricing Display UI

We've added new functionality to display pricing information by time to the customer during the checkout process. If you enable the setting “Show Open Play Pricing By Start Time”, AlleyTrak will display the per-person, per-lane, or per-game rate based on the time of the event. This will help inform the customer on pricing changes throughout the day, and help promote customers reserving during off-peak times for cost savings.

Additional Changes:

  1. We've fixed a bug that was impacting the report page for waiver submissions and not currently displaying the “enrolled in promotions” details.

  2. We've added new logic to ensure that the “party count” and “guests participating” remain in sync if your facility does not utilize the “party count” field. This was only impacting events modified by center staff in the AlleyTrak admin panel.

  3. We've officially launched RangeTrak.com, an alias of AlleyTrak. With a name more geared towards the golf industry, RangeTrak will remain as the exact same product as AlleyTrak, just with a different time.
