AlleyTrak version 5.133.0 Introduces Enhancements to User Demographic Pricing, New Settings for Packages, and More!
User Demographic Data Enhancements
We've added two new features for package configurations that utilize User Demographic Pricing.
You can now set the requirement that all guests must be allocated to a specified demographic.
You can now set a minimum number of guests that must be added to a certain demographic. This is ideal when having demographics for adults and or youths. You could for example set a requirement that you need a minimum of two adults in a booking.
New Package Payment Policy Option
We've added the ability to disable payments for specific packages. This will remove the requirement for customers to pay for an event when booking online. This is useful especially when you require a payment for the majority of your events but need the ability to take bookings without payments for a specific event.
Package Auto-Upgrade/Downgrade Based on Event Duration
We've added a new auto-upgrade/downgrade feature for packages based on an event duration. With this feature, you can define a package event that we should automatically upgrade or downgrade a customer to if they try reducing or increasing their event duration beyond what the current package is configured to support.
This feature is great for seamlessly transitioning customers to a more appropriate event based on their desired event duration.
New Admin Override for “Required Lanes”
We've added a new override control when creating, editing, and managing reservations as an admin. You can now override the calculation and validation logic for the number of required lanes a booking must have.
Historically admin users have always had the ability to book extra lanes, bays, spaces, etc but this new override adds the ability to book fewer lanes than what is normally required for an event based on the number of guests participating.
Other Changes
Transaction Reporting: Transaction Notes
We've added Transaction Notes to both the Transaction Dashboard, and the On-Demand report. This will help provide easy access to the additional information recorded against a transaction.
Order Addons Editor Update
We've updated the drop-down selector that enables you to pick which package events an addon is available for. The selector control now groups package events into two groups “Active Packages” and “Archived/Expired Packages”. This will help you make the correct selection, especially if you have a large number of package events.
We've also updated the label to include the unique Package ID, which can be helpful if you have multiple packages of the same name.
New Phone Number Format
We've added a new phone number format, which supports both 9 and 10 digit phone numbers.
Reservation Viewer - SelectPi Pin Code
We've added the SelectPi Pin Code back to the Reservation Viewer. This will make it easier for the staff to see the code and provide it to the customer while in the facility.
Bug Fixes
We've fixed a bug that was causing packages that utilize a fixed number of lanes to not calculate an order total correctly for events with an extended duration.
