Admin Only Add-ons

We've added a new control that will enable you to create and offer add-ons for bookings that are only available for administrators to apply to a booking. These add-ons are a great way for event coordinators and party planners to consistently build out custom events with common event offerings.

Admin Add-ons will be shown in order confirmation, reminder, and other notification type emails.

New Admin Event Management Controls

We've added new functionality to enable AlleyTrak administrator users to have the flexibility to book events for party sizes larger than the total number of lanes, bays, rooms, etc than what the facility can support.

An example use-case for this is a facility that has 8 lanes that typically support 6 guests per-lane. In some instances, event coordinators may want to book special events for 50, or 75 guests, which would exceed the calculated number of lanes required and or that the facility could support. 

With this new functionality, AlleyTrak will enable facility staff to create custom bookings that exceed the number of lanes required, and they will be able to book the event for their own defined number of lanes.

Email Notification Enhancements

We've refined some of the AlleyTrak notification emails to ensure that line-item data in the emails are relevant to your event-type configurations. For example, if you have the tip setting disabled, customers will no longer see the tip line-item in their order total/summary. Another example line-item modified is equipment rentals.

Customer Checkout Experience Enhancement

We've added a new display message to customers that will show when they change their event date and the original selected package/event-type is no longer available for that day. This new message will inform the customer that the previously selected event is not available for the newly selected date and that we've auto-selected an alternative event for them.
