AlleyTrak version 5.150.0 Introduces Customer Subscriptions/Membership Programs
Customer Subscriptions/Membership Programs
New to AlleyTrak is our Customer Subscription/Membership program. This highly requested feature will enable facilities to offer recurring monthly subscriptions for customers. Simply create your subscription/membership opportunities in the AlleyTrak admin panel and provide the registration link to your customers.
Customer subscriptions will bill the customer each month, based on the date that they signed up. The subscription opportunity will have a defined cost/amount paid by the customer each month. You can then determine the amount of credit the customer is compensated for their purchase, enabling you to offer bonus credits to the customer (example: pay $25/mo and receive $50 worth of credits).
Customer subscriptions are exclusive to our Fiserv/CardConnect payment gateway.
Credits have a direct value equal to $1 in your selected currency, and can be used in AlleyTrak for future bookings. When the customer would like to purchase a reservation using credits, they will be required to authenticate and validate they are who they say they are via a one-time text message code.
Customers will receive an email confirmation after signing up for the subscription, and one after each successful payment. Customer subscriptions are automatically canceled after a failed payment attempt.
Currently customers are required to contact the facility to cancel their subscription.
In the future we will be adding new functionality like:
- The ability to refund customers for a canceled event in the form of credits (instead of refunding the card they used to make the reservation payment).
- The ability to add or remove credits from a customer's profile.
- The ability to process a miscellaneous transaction using customer credits.
- The ability for the customer to cancel their subscription themselves.
Other Changes
- We've added new logic to accurately load the correct location/activity when editing a reservation, regardless of which previous location/activity you had previously selected.
- We've updated our eRange/Range Star integration with more ball allocation quantities in increments of 5.
- We've updated our Promo/Discount code builder to support code redemption options with single increment options up to 25, before switching to larger quantities.
- We've resolved an edge-case bug that was preventing some customer profiles from storing their tokenized payment method on file.
- We've resolved an edge-case bug that would result in an order tip from being applied to the cost of the reservation, but it was not reflecting as a line-item in the order details.
- We've resolved a display quirk for Open Play bookings and the estimated rate based on the time of the booking.
