AlleyTrak Version 5.153.0 Introduces Major Changes to the Reservation View and Admin Interface
Reservation Viewer and Admin Interface
We're so excited to release a completely new version of the Reservation/Order viewer in AlleyTrak. The reservation viewer is a critical part of the AlleyTrak admin panel and it is a tool that facility staff interact with countless times per day.
Our updated reservation viewer delivers several notable feature enhancements.
The reservation viewer has a completely new layout and you will find content is organized more intuitively for facility staff.
We've taken great care to significantly improve the layout of the reservation viewer to improve how the viewer prints realizing that many facilities like to print the event details leading up the event start.
We've added new functionality to quickly copy key details to your computer's clipboard like the customer's email address, phone number, the order id, remaining balance link, contract link, and more.
We've added new short-cuts, like the ability to quickly send the customer their Inrange bay code or SelectPi ball redemption code.
Steltronic Integration
We've added a modification to our Steltronic integration which will prioritize updating and removing booking records in Steeltronic before creating new bookings. This minor modification will help ensure each API call is successful and to avoid conflicts
Other Changes
As part of refactoring the reservation viewer, we've migrated some of the associated AlleyTrak APIs to our middleware server, which has proven to improve page load times with more efficient technology and computing capabilities.
We've added new logic to improve and standardize the size of lane/bays within the grid-view presentation for resources utilizing custom names.
We've modified how the booking timeout feature resets a customer when they exceed the timeout duration. Now customers will have their selected event date retained when they are redirected to the beginning of the booking workflow.
We've resolved a bug that impacted multi-activity bookings and the “package total” price that was displaying for administrators when trying to edit a reservation.
