AlleyTrak Version 5.163.0 Introduces Apple Pay, Local Timezone Conversion for Reporting, Package Tags, and Booking Widget Link-Click Handling

Apple Pay

We've excited to introduce Apple Pay as a supported payment method for our CardConnect payment gateway. With both Google Pay and Apple Pay supported for our CardConnect gateway, we are seeing that approximately half of all payments through the CardConnect gateway are being processed with Google Pay or Apple Pay.

Google Pay and Apple Pay provide a secure, user-friendly, and faster checkout experience for customers over traditional methods of manually typing in payment details.

Local Timezone Conversion for Reporting

We've added a new column to the AlleyTrak on-demand reporting system to include a localized timestamp for when reservations and transactions were created. This local time conversion accounts for the facility's timezone setting and relevant daylight savings calculations based on their facility settings.

Package Tags

We've introduced new package tags as a way to group different types of events together. These tags will be utilized in upcoming features enhancements like:

• SelectPi transaction categorization for reporting

• AlleyTrak Calendar-View color coordinating by event type/tag

Booking Widget Link-Click Handling

We've refined how AlleyTrak treats hyperlinks/URLs for page content found within the booking widget. Historically, all link-clicks would open a link in a new tab for the user. We've modified this behavior so that AlleyTrak-specific links (like your package/event direct links) will keep the customer within AlleyTrak. This now operates more like “deep-linking” functionality, so that you can route customers to other relevant event offerings in your AlleyTrak account.
