AlleyTrak Version 5.164.0 Introduces Auto Opt-In settings for Waivers, and revisions to our SelectPi reporting and CardConnect Terminal integrations


Marketing Emails: Auto Opt-In from Waivers/Contracts

We've added a new control for the “enroll in promotions” checkbox/flag that determines if a customer is enrolled in email notifications and marketing emails from your team. Historically, AlleyTrak has had two options:

  1. Disabled (which would always set the customer's opt-in status to false)

  2. Enabled (which would provide the customer a checkbox to agree to opt in).

We've now added a new option, which will not show the opt-in checkbox to the customer, but still automatically enroll the customer. This is intended for facilities that are configuring a waiver that explicitly states that the customer will be signed up for marketing and promotional emails from the facility staff.

While we don't typically recommend this option, if your facility has configured your waivers or contracts to explicitly state that the customer is agreeing to receiving marketing/promotional emails, it is justified to auto-enroll the customer.

SelectPi Reporting Updates

We've updated our v2 integration with SelectPi to include a refined transaction line-item that now references the defined package tag. This will help facilities looking to group events in unique ways. A few examples include:

  • Customer bookings

  • Admin/staff bookings

  • Special event coordinator bookings

  • Partner bookings

CardConnect Terminal Integration

We've added new logging and reporting to our CardConnect terminal and reporting service so provide additional insight and information to facility and AlleyTrak staff throughout the terminal checkout process.
