AlleyTrak Version 5.175.0 Introduces Pricing Precision and Updates to Waitlists, Steltronic Integration, and Payment Policies.

Pricing Precision

We've added a new control that enables facilities to configure pricing as either 2 or 3 decimal places. The default in AlleyTrak is configured at two decimal places, but adding an option for 3 decimal places helps facilities with more nuanced pricing structures. One example of this is when you have sales tax calculated separately but expect the order totals to calculate to a flat whole dollar amount.

Customer Initiated Waitlist

We've extended our recently introduced waitlist feature in AlleyTrak, but adding a customer portal that enables customers to add themselves to the waitlist. Facilities can display a QR code or tablet/kiosk for customers to add themselves to the waitlist.

Order Total Rounding

We've added a new mechanism that expands our order total rounding logic. Historically we've had controls for rounding to the nearest penny (default), and rounding to the nearest 5 cents (0.05). We've now added an option which will round order totals to the nearest whole dollar. This control is helpful for small rounding discrepancies that can occur.

Steltronic Event Buffer

We've added a new control to our Steltronic integration, which enables facilities to add a 15-minute buffer to events. This defines each event in Steltronic as starting 15 minutes prior to the officially scheduled start time. Facilities may be interested in utilizing this feature if they like to turn the lanes on a few minutes before the official scheduled start time.
