AlleyTrak version 5.8 introduces SMS (text message) notifications
Communication is key, and now you can keep your customers informed via text message notifications. Text message notifications are a great way to keep your customers informed. According to Campaign Monitor, SMS notifications have an average response time of 90 seconds, as compared to 90 minutes for email. In addition people are significantly more likely to open and review the text message notification as compared to the email.
We currently offer SMS notifications for two types of scenarios:
- When a reservation has been created
- The morning a reservation is set to take place assuming you have Same Day Notifications enabled.
We've also implemented a few adjustments pertaining to:
- Convenience Fees can now be defined within your location settings. A few options available include:
- Booking Fee
- Convenience Fee
- Online Fee
- Reservation Fee
- Implemented an ability to hide the assigned lanes from the customer in the checkout process as well as for confirmation and reminder notifications. This allows more freedom and agency to move reservations around to maximize lane availability.
