AlleyTrak version 5.43.0 Introduces Administrative UI Enhancements, Calendar View Toggles, and Payment Gateway Credential Management Changes
Reservation Cards: Displaying Notes
We've added new functionality to allow displaying Customer Notes, Administrative Notes, and Order Notes within the Reservation Cards found in the Reservation Dashboard. This will make the notes more readily available, without the need to click into view the reservation details.
We've added a new user profile setting which allows you to toggle how this behaves for each user. By default we will display the order notes, but you can disable this functionality at any time.
Reservation Grid: Checked In Reservations
We've added new functionality to now show checked in reservations with a check-mark within the grid. This should help you more quickly work through reservations from the grid.
We've added a new user profile setting which allows you to toggle how this behaves for each user. By default we will show the check mark for any orders checked in, but you can disable this functionality at any time.
Calendar View: Details Toggle
We've added new functionality to allow you to toggle what data shows in the calendar view. You can now quickly toggle between reservations, reservation blocks, or both reservations and reservation blocks.
Payment Gateway Credential Management
We've added a new section within the AlleyTrak admin panel specifically for managing payment gateway credentials. Previously payment gateway credentials were managed in the location settings. We've moved the credentials to this new area for 2 key reasons:
When you create multiple locations or activities on an account, you might find yourself wanting to still use the same payment gateway. This would require copy/pasting credentials to the new location/activity, or re-generating the credentials from the gateway.
We've noticed an up-tick in browsers and users enabling auto-fill passwords and inadvertently updating the credentials when managing their location settings. This could cause incorrect credential settings and the inability to process payments.
By moving the credentials to a new area, you can now:
More easily apply the same gateway to multiple locations/activities
More easily maintain the credentials
Avoid unintended auto-fill password updates
